Fiber Workshop - Donna Hicks

Donna Hicks is going to demonstrate one of her own techniques where she takes bottle caps, beads, recycled plastic bags, old sweaters, and embroidery to create these playful and decorative Felt Balls as she calls them. It's a very creative process for using recycled materials. The main techniques learned in the workshop will be embroidery focused on different techniques and design options. She will explain the structure of the balls but they will already be formed for each participant to work on. Donna Hicks supplied all of the materials. Your fee will go to her travel and time, the center really prides itself on supporting our artists in any way we can!
